Welcome to Sugar Valley Community Volunteer Fire Company website !  The Sugar Valley Community Volunteer Fire Company is located in Clinton County, Pennsylvania.  This area is known for it's spectacular fall foliage as well as some of the best hunting and fishing in the state.

We serve three entire municipalities and part of a fourth, Loganton Borough, Greene Township, Logan Township and  part of Crawford Township.  Our station is located in the borough of Loganton at 24 West Anthony Street.  Our coverage area is approximately 95 square miles.  We border Centre, Lycoming and Union counties.  We are responsible for 26 miles of Interstate 80, east and west bound total, from mile marker 182 to 195.   Our area is mainly rural.  It is comprised of the small villages of Tylersville, Booneville, Greenburr, Eastville, Carroll and Rosecrans.  The entire area is known as "Sugar Valley" and it is a large farming community.  We are also responsible for large mountainous region and large tracts of forest land, both state owned and private.  This area is also home to a large Amish community. 

Our fire company was formed in 1947, after several devastating fires in the area.  Prior to that time fire protection came from the Lock Haven/Mill Hall area and Jersey Shore.  Currently mutual aid is still 15-20 minutes away on average.  Today, our neighboring mutal aid companies are Lamar Township and Nittany Valley (Clinton County), Miles Township (Centre County), Nippenose (Lycoming County) and White Deer (Union County).  We greatly appreciate all the help they have provided over the years.
